Osby Nunnally

Osby Nunnally, 86, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his residence in Columbus, GA. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Reverend J. H. Flakes III officiating. Mr. Nunnally was born on September 26, 1926 in Columbus, GA to the late Gus Nunnally and Alberta Barnes. Mr. Nunnally proudly served in the United States Air Force and later opened his own business working as a mechanic. He was not only a member of the 4th Street Baptist church, but served as an usher and was part of the Masonic order. Mr. Nunnally was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Evelena Grant Nunnally, one daughter Diane Rountree (John) of Savannah, GA; one brother Herman Nunnally of Columbus, GA and three grandchildren.
