Otis Allen Jordan

Otis Allen Jordan, 71, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00pm Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Emory Evans officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Jordan was born March 25, 1945 in Phenix City, AL to the late Robert Lee Jordan and “Pat” Jordan Johnson.  He was an electrician most of his working life and enjoyed his work, even mentoring and training many other electricians. Otis worked for Buckeye Electric for over 20 years and traveled all over the U.S. with them. He loved fishing and had enjoyed many trips with his brother since retiring. He took care of his family and his home and even helped out with the other families around the neighborhood. He also attended Faith Temple Assembly of God.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Judy Jordan; children, Allen Jordan and wife Elizabeth and Laura Jordan Best and husband David; granddaughter, Jordan Best; siblings, Robert Jordan wife Rena, Willie Jordan wife Kathy, Betty Sue Mills and husband James, Fay Jordan and Ricky Johnson and wife Lenore; many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
