Pamela Anne Young, 79, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at her residence.
Anne was born on October 19, 1942 in Columbus, GA to the late Early Cluster Fincher and Grace Thelma Wilkes Fincher. She was employed for 30 years with FBMC Mortgage, Inc. where she worked as a Loan Processor. Anne’s spunky personality, sweet demeanor and giving heart enabled her to live a life pleasing to her Lord. She enjoyed the services at River of Life Church, where she was a member, as well as her visits to Evangel Temple. Whether talking about God, family, church, or her Georgia Bulldogs, it was easy to recognize that Anne loved people and people loved her. Without a doubt, Anne has truly left her fingerprint on the hearts of so many who were blessed to have her in their lives.
Anne is survived by several nieces and nephews including James Arrington (Jenise) of Ariton, AL, Tammy Kaylene Posey of Columbus, and Allison Homes (Edward) of Salem, AL. Several cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive, as well as her two furbabies Katie and Samantha. Other than her parents, Anne is preceded in death by her husband James R. Young, brother William A. Fincher, and sisters Melba Grace Posey and Sandra Baxley.
