Pamela Norris Sloane, 59, of Phenix City, AL died Friday September 18, 2020 at her home.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Mrs. Sloane was born Columbus, GA, daughter of late Allen Eugene Norris and Betty Evelyn McCarty Norris. She was always full of energy, rearranging the house or shopping. Mrs. Sloane enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching her humming birds, but most of all spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Earl Sloane; two brothers, Tommy Simmons and Terry Simmons.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela Buckingham and husband Brian of Salem, AL; a son, Robert Sloane and wife Jessica of Phenix City, AL; a brother, Gary Simmons and wife Rayleen of Brighton, CO; a sister, Deborah McQuinn of Phenix City, AL; a step-sister and close friend, Diane Jenkins and husband Jeff of Salem, AL; grandchildren, Breanna Argo, Brent Adkison, Brittani Buckingham, Kyle Sloane, Hunter Sloane, Christian Luke, Brooke Buckingham, and Charlotte Kelley-Sloane; a great-grandchild, Kullen Argo; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dale Gross for his care of Mrs. Sloane over the past three years.
