Patricia Ann Bryant Adams, 81, of Phenix City, AL died at Parkwood Nursing Facility on Thursday, August 1, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM (EST) on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Andrew Spires officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM until 2:15PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams was born September 09, 1942, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Walter Bryant and Catherine Reid Bryant. She had retired from Fieldcrest Mills as a Finisher after Nineteen years. Mrs. Adams was well known for her baking skills and often baked both wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends. She was also an excellent cook. Mrs. Adams enjoyed having family and friends over to enjoy her made from scratch meals made with fresh from their farm meats and vegetables. She was also an accomplished seamstress making quality durable clothes for her family. Mrs. Adams was a true reflection of Psalms 31:10-31. She was also an active member of Central Baptist Church for over 17 years where she worshiped with family and friends.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Catherine Bryant; husband of 51 years, Jerry Adams, brother Danny Bryant, and granddaughter Jennifer House.
Survivors include her two daughters, Beverly Ballenger (Robert) and Donna House (Tracey Watson) all of Phenix City, AL; one son, David Adams (Leigh), Columbus, GA; one sister, Jeanette Bass (Larry), Columbus, GA; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren; her constant companion, “Sunshine”; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
