Mrs. Anthony was born February 22, 1951 in Tacoma, WA daughter of the late Charles William Marshall and Lillian Elizabeth Beasley Marshall. She was a former member of New Life Baptist Church and an active member of Geneva Baptist Church. Ms. Pat was renowned for her baking! She made the best Friendship Bread, pound cakes and zucchini bread. Oh, let’s not forget her homemade biscuits from scratch. Ms. Pat also had a habit of rearranging her furniture quite often. This made for some interesting conversations around the house. You ask why, well she did this in the middle of the night! She also loved family time and playing board games or on the iPad with her grandchildren. Ms. Pat was also an avid gardener, with roses being her favorite to grow. Pat loved her dog Roscoe. His nickname was Roscoe-P-Coltrane, and she enjoyed doing tricks with him and giving him treats. While we are sad she has left us, we know she is waiting in Heaven for our arrival. We take great comfort in this fact.
Mrs. Anthony is survived by her husband, Donald R. Anthony, Box Springs, GA; two daughters, Kristin Barrentine, Box Springs, GA an Kelli Cook (Wesley), Columbus, GA; one son, Ronnie Carlisle (Cindi Moon), Columbus, GA; two brothers, Daryl Marshall, Houston, TX and Robert Marshall (Mary), Mason City, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Sydney Oliver (Blake), Taylor White, Paige Barrentine, Baileigh Barrentine, Destin Carlisle, Trey Carlisle, Keaton Carlisle and Abby Carlisle; seven great-grandchildren, Bennett Oliver, Kylar Ray, Leah Carlisle, Avelyn Carlisle, Genevieve Carlisle, Emberleigh Carlisle and Jarrett Carlisle; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
