Patricia Ann Proctor Geier, 78, of Seale, AL passed away late Wednesday night, February 27, 2019 in the comfort of her home in Seale, AL.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm EST on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Rev. Barry Danner officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home in Phenix City.
Mrs. Geier was born January 2, 1941 in Columbus, GA to the late Edwin Woodrow Proctor and Ruby Lee Barton Proctor Jannetty. She had worked as a LPN and was retired with Central Intermediate School System. She was a former member of the Battered Women’s of Russell County. Mrs. Geier served our country proudly and was a Veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed traveling and loved animals and took great pride and care especially for animals that maybe didn’t have a home, she worked as an volunteer for the local Humane Society where she found joy in helping any way she could. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Phenix City. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Fred D. Jannetty, her beloved husband of 31 years, Joseph Charles Geier, a brother, Edwin David Proctor, Jr. and a daughter, Amy Lynn Stephenson.
She is survived by three daughters, Leatha Hudgens, Terri Armstrong and husband Danny, and Jeanette “Jenny” Batz and husband Greg, two sisters, Cecelia Little, and Dianna Bristow, and two brothers, Gene Proctor and wife Mary, and Marty Jannetty, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends.
