Patricia Gail Guyette

Mrs. Patricia Cooper Guyette, 79, of Columbus, GA passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus, GA with Rev. Ken Dawson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Thursday afternoon, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Guyette was born February 6, 1944 in Liberty, MS, daughter of the late Colie B. Cooper and Hazel Cox Smith.  She worked for many years as a seamstress on Ft. Benning but what brought joy to her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Guyette was a member of Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, GA. 

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate of 45 years, Phillip J. Guyette; a sister, Gloria Newell and a brother, George Cooper.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristina Diaz and husband Steven of Columbus, GA and Virginia Guyette of Columbus, GA; three sons, Jimmy Sepulvado and wife Patricia of Sacramento, CA, Bruce Guyette and wife Christine of Chattanooga, TN and Kevin Pittman and wife Tonya of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Betty Jackson and husband Kelly of Savannah, GA and Barbara Cook and husband James of Phenix City, AL; a brother, Ray Cooper and wife Lorna of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Jamie Sepulvado, Allen Sepulvado, Isabella Diaz, Jacob Guyette and Ana Guyette; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
