Patsy Ann Green

Patsy Ann McGrotha Green, 83, of Phenix City, AL passed away early Thursday morning, October 19, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 23, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Seth Hon officiating.  Interment will follow at 12:30 at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA.  The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green was born September 2, 1934 in Greenville, SC to the late Henry McGrotha and Hattie Pearl Tallant McGrotha.  She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whom loved her family deeply.  She enjoyed being involved in church, and church activities, cooking, and spending quality time with all her grandchildren.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Green, daughter, Gloria Gail Wilson, son, Ronnie E. Green, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Joann Watford and husband Donnie, brother, Earl McGrother, grandchildren, Robin Dempsey (David), Tommy Morrison (Beverly), Kimberly Lewis, Wendy Workman (Danny), Donnie Watford, and several other grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, (5) great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends
