Paul Allen Green

Paul A. Green, 71, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 beginning at 11:00 am EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907 with Rev. David Helms officiating.  The interment, with military honors, will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm EST.

Mr. Green was born May 23, 1946 in Tecumpseh, MI, son of the late Russell Green and Myrtle Green.  He had a BS in History and retired after many years of service from the Civil Service.  Mr. Green served his country in the United States Army, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.  He enjoyed history, hunting and bass fishing.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Jasmin Green of Columbus, GA; a daughter, Bianca Wroble and husband Jeff of Kihei, HI; a son, Dominik Green of Columbus, GA; a sister, Beverly Eversole and a brother Bud Green; two grandchildren, Mason Hare and Aiden Wroble; many other extended family and friends.
