Paul Frank Camara, Jr.

Paul Frank Camara, Jr., 48, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Canterbury Health Care Facility in Phenix City, AL.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am EST, on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 pm EST at the funeral home. 

Paul was born October 18, 1968 in Long Beach, NY to the late Paul F. Camara, Sr. and Angelina Camara.  Through the years he was a truck driver and a school bus driver.  Paul also served as a deputy sheriff while living in Florida.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helenann Danderson and a step-father, James “Sam” Nelms

Paul is survived by his wife Melanie Bender Camara of Phenix City, AL; a daughter, Danika Camara of Phenix City, AL as well as many extended family, church family and caring friends.
