Pauline Antoinette Vallee

Pauline Antoinette Vallee, 73, of Columbus, GA passed away, peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Thursday, January 26, 2017 beginning at 11:00 A.M. EST with Pastor Kennith Savage officiating.  The interment will conclude the service at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery,  553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Mrs. Vallee was born September 15, 1943 in Worcester, Massachusetts the late Armand Forgit and Jeanette L. Roy Forgit.  She was a member of Beallwood Church of God in Columbus, GA.  She was employed by several employers as a bookkeeper.  She dearly loved her family.  At home, she was not only a homemaker, but she also served as a bookkeeper, nurse, teacher, law maker and principal.  She also had hobbies as a homemaker and dearly loved sewing, knitting and jewelry making.  She often made jewelry and would give her artistic pieces to friends near and dear to her.  She not only loved her family, but she also had many friends and adopted grandchildren for which she cared. 

Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-two years, Louis A. Vallee, Jr. of Columbus, GA; two sons:  Louis Armand Vallee of Atlanta, GA and Christopher Gerard Vallee (Babette) of Knoxville, TN; three sisters:  Lorraine Classen, Ann Marie Daigneault (Gerard), and Peggy Leveillee (Herve); two brothers:  Richard Forgit and Roy Forgit; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and the many friends she had adopted as family.  She will be missed greatly by all of those who loved her so dearly.
