Pauline "Polly" Mae Langer

Pauline “Polly” Langer, 82, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on March 9, 2016, at her daughters in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Vance Memorial Chapel, with Dan Elkins officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Polly was born on December 9, 1933, in Paw Paw, WV, the daughter of the late Oakie Smith and Della Hartman Smith. Formerly of Florida having lived in Phenix City 14 years, she worked in customer service for Air Products.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Jay Donald Langer and 2 brothers, William Smith and John Joseph Smith.

She is survived by 3 children, Joanne Luksa, husband Paul of Princeton, NJ, Susan Harp, husband Terry of Phenix City, AL and Martha Langer of Red Bank, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Jaron and Risa Luksa, Matthew and Erika Luksa, Emily and Billy Gunnels, Rachel Harp and Katelynn Harp; 4 great grandchildren, Ryan and Harper Gunnels, McClain Luksa and Devi Luksa; nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
