Peggy J. Varnadore

Peggy J. Buxton Varnadore, 71, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am EDT on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Robert Rhodes officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Mrs. Varnadore was born January 23, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the late Jim Buxton and Sophronia Mae Wilson Osborn.  She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills with 36 years of service.  She was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and playing computer games.  She loved spending quality time and sharing special moments with husband Earl.  She was a Baptist by faith.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Jean Donagan, and Joyce Chancellor, and one brother, Johnny L. Sanders.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Earl D. Varnadore of Phenix City, AL, one daughter, Angela Trepanier of Phenix City, AL, brother, Larry Lamar Buxton and wife Linda of Smiths Station, AL, and a host of extended family members, and many caring friends.
