Phil Joseph Weaver

SFC (Ret) Phil Joseph Weaver, 85, of Seale, AL died at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Robert C. Warren officiating. The interment with U. S. Army Honors will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 till 7:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.
SFC (Ret) Weaver was born October 18, 1935 in Pennsylvania the son of the late Phil F. Weaver and Sarah Mae Rider Weaver. He retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of honorable service to our country. He later retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning. Mr. Weaver and his wife have lived in Ft. Mitchell for 49 years making numerous friends. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing small engines. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver loved to travel and had traveled extensively in the lower 48 states. He will always be a cherished memory in our hearts.
Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Eun Soon Lee Weaver, Seale, AL; along with several nephews and nieces and many friends from the community.
