Philip Preston Corley, Sr.

Mr. Philip Preston Corley, Sr., 66, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday July 14, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. 

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am EDT Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dan Elkins officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 am EDT, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Corley was born March 9, 1958 in Panama City, FL, son of Thomas B. Corley, III and Harriett Zediker Corley. He worked for most of his career as an electrician and owned Corley Electrical Maintenance for many years. Mr. Corley enjoyed riding his dirt bike and traveling, especially going to the mountains and the beach. Additionally, he was a lover of pets and kept his yard immaculate. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Nicole Duncan.

Other than his parents, Mr. Corley is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Evelyn Gossien Corley of Phenix City, AL; a son, Philip Preston Corley, Jr. of Phenix City, AL; a brother, Chip Corley and wife Trish of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Madison Duncan (Lane) and Makenzie Duncan; a great-grandson, Collier Luke Phillips; a niece and nephew, Blair Corley and Ben Corley; as well as, extended family and friends.
