Phyllis Ann Staley

Phyllis Ann “Greene” Staley, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm EST Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Grant Parker officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Phyllis was born September 29, 1954 in Phenix City, AL to Betty Sparks Greene and the late Walter A. Greene.  She was the first female insurance appraiser in the bi-city area. Phyllis was also among the first female auto body shop owners in the area.She was a daughter, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply.  She enjoyed sharing quality time with all her family, and her many friends.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Sparks Greene, son, Jeffrey Ty Staley, and Tara Killgore, Granddaughter Shyann Staley and her friend for over 50 years, Kathryn Lolmaugh.
