Phyllis Ruth Siegelman

Phyllis Ruth Ventura Siegelman, age 94, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Canterbury Rehabilitation Center in Phenix City, AL.

Phyllis was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 21, 1921, but was a longtime resident of Mobile, AL. She and her husband, Albert "Tiny" Siegelman, who predeceased her in 2007, moved in 2006 to Smiths Station, AL to be near family. She was a veteran in the US Navy during WWII and a retired employee of the State of Alabama.

Survivors include her only son, Charles Jay Siegelman and his wife Dianne, of Smiths Station, AL; two grandchildren, Amy Beth Martin and her husband Russ of Douglasville, GA and their children, Evie Dianne, Claire Ansley and Reese Sydney; Jay Allan Siegelman and his wife Lori of Kathleen, GA and their children, Avery Brooke, Garrett Jay and Ava Nicole; one step great-granddaugther, Carrie Elizabeth Martin of Douglasville, GA.

Graveside services are 2CDT/3EDT Monday, April 11, 2016 at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice
