Phyllis Titmus Bowman

Phyllis Titmus Bowman, 44, of Salem, AL, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Bethany House in Columbus, GA.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon EDT, on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Bowman was born on March 5, 1971, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of Philip Jan Eckert and Mary Nell Wilson.

Other than her father she is preceded in death by a brother, Randal Frank Lanier, nephew, Jason Lanier and niece, Augusta Bowman.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Nell Eckert; mother and father in-law, Fred and Dee Bowman; loving husband, Robert John Bowman; daughter, Jennifer “Jitter Bug” Christine Bowman; son, Jeffrey Allen Bowman; siblings, Lisa McEwen (Randy) of Phenix City, Laura Hunt of Phenix City, Julie Eckert of Salem, AL, Shelia Gamble (Dan) of Jacksonville, FL, Bobbie Duckro (Matt) of Atlanta, GA, Arlene Cornell (Shawn) of Columbus, GA, Angie Collins, of Harris County, GA, Johnny Lanier (Juanita) of Phenix City, AL, Lisa Martinez (Bob) of New Mexico, Ray Bowman (Melissa) of New Mexico, and Curtis Bowman (Janet) of New Mexico; grandchildren, Ryder Bowman, Robert Titmus, and Chassidy Burrell; extended family and many caring friends.
