Preston Dupont Killingsworth, 80, Ellaville, GA, passed away June 5, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 beginning at 6:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907. Preston Dupont Killingsworth was born August 23, 1934 in Columbia, AL. son of the late Tommy Joe Killingsworth and Mary Killingsworth. Preston served our country proudly in the United States Navy. He enjoyed farming and loved working outdoors. Preston was a member of Warm Springs Road Church of Christ. Other than his parents, Preston is preceded in death by brother, Savell Killingsworth; sister, Louise Sutton. Survivors include his devoted wife Reda June Killingsworth, of Ellaville, GA; daughter, Cindy Harmon and husband Don of Savannah, TN; son Rodney Killingsworth and wife Arlene of Hamilton, GA; grandchildren, Seriah, Dena, and Seth Harmon of Savannah, TN, and Ryan Killingsworth of Columbus, GA; Preston also leaves behind three great grandchildren, many loving extended family members and caring friends.
