Quejette L. Mccormick

August 23, 1940 — February 19, 2020

Quejette Louise McCormick, 79, of Midland, GA died at Columbus Hospice House, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 embraced by her family.  

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. She will be laid to rest privately, in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery on Monday, February 24, 2020. 

Mrs. McCormick was born August 23, 1940 in Shelby County, AL daughter of the late Edgar Seales and Mamie Louise Galloway Seales. She was a homemaker, finding great joy in raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. McCormick was an active member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Ellerslie, GA where she served in ministries as she was able. Her gentle ways, kind spirit and helping heart will continue to impact us and she will live in hearts forever.  

Mrs. McCormick was preceded in death by her husband, David Paul McCormick and a daughter, Paula Boberg.  

Survivors include her three daughters, Angie Green, Lesha Pritchett and Michele Carter; three siblings, Doris Faye Kendrick, Raymond Seals and Lyndall Elizabeth Scurlock; eight grandchildren, David Harris, Stacey and Jake Green, Edwin and Cody Stanislawski, Joshua, Justin and Adam Carter and twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.  

Flowers will be accepted or donations made be made in her memory to Columbus Hospice, www.columbushospice.com.
