Ramona Jean Davis

Ramona Jean Davis, 89, of Phenix City, AL died at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA on Sunday, June 21, 2020 with her family close by her side.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Robb Goodman officiating. A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM till 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born October 26, 1930 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Joe  Ferrell and Opal Scarbrough Raybon. She was a proud  graduate of Jordan High School Class of 1948.  Mrs. Davis had retired from Litho-Krome after 18 years of service working in various departments. She enjoyed worshiping at Summerville Baptist Church where she enjoyed her Sunday School Class and singing in the choir. Mrs. Davis was also an avid GA Bulldog Football fan. We will miss her in our daily lives, but her influence and memories will always be a part of our lives.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Royce Glen Davis, Sr., a brother, James “Bubby” Ferrell, daughter-in-law, Barb Davis and a grandson, Corey Davis.

Survivors include her two sons, Royce Glen Davis, Jr. and Randall “Randy” Corey Davis (Charlotte); four grandchildren, Shelli, Mandy, Brandi and Houston; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Charlee and Aven Glen; several other family member and close friends also survive.
