Randall Dewaine Siers, age 53, resident of Midland, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 4,2022 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 12 noon, with Rabbi Greg Lehtimaki officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15,2022 from 5-7 p.m. Following internment family and friends are invited to gather and eat at Beit HaSha’ar Messianic Fellowship located at 2015 US-280, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Siers, son of Joan Siers and the late Ronald Dewaine Siers, was born March 10,1969 in Evansville, Indiana. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served honorably as a Nuclear Operator. Mr. Siers worked faithfully as an Engineer with the U.S. Army for 32 years. He was a member of Beit HaSha’ar in Phenix City, Alabama. Many knew him as a man who loved God and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. When at home, he would be known by many as a man who enjoyed relaxing and sometimes spent time watching crime shows on television. The family remembers him as a good man of faith, having a great sense of humor, and someone who made an impact on other people’s lives.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Stone. Mr. Siers is survived by his wife of 16 years, Teri Siers of Midland, Georgia; one daughter, Crista Turner and her husband Craig of Sharpsburg, Georgia; two sons, Ronald Siers of Greensboro, North Carolina and Collin Siers of Rochester Hills, Michigan; two sisters, Tammy Keck and her husband Tom of Lowell, Indiana and Michelle Rambin and her husband Greg of Ringold, Georgia; two grandchildren, Olivia and Maple Turner; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends.
