Raymond Michael “Mike” Ramsey

Mr. Raymond “Mike” Ramsey, 74, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away peacefully, at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, Georgia, while surrounded by his family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home located at 3738 U.S. Highway 431 North Phenix City, AL, with Rev. Rodney Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ramsey was born in Columbus, GA, the son of the late Raymond A. Ramsey and Margaret Johnston Ramsey. Mike, as he was known, was a farmer all his life and was very proud of his profession. In addition to farming, he enjoyed watching the RFD television channel. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish Mike’s memory is his loving wife of 50 years Cheryl Myer Ramsey; three daughters Holli Browder and husband Tim of Phenix City, AL, Polli Ramsey of Phenix City, AL and Molli Newman and husband Shelby of Auburn, AL; two sisters Martha Stevens of Phenix City, AL and Mary Ann Page of Mount Vernon, VA and four grandchildren Abigail Browder, Alex Browder, Ashley Newman and Charlie Newman.
