Rebeca Villanueva

Abuelita “Rebeca” Villanueva, 87, of Columbus, GA, passed away April 27, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2014, beginning at 6:00 P.M. at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA, 31907.

Abuelita Rebeca Villanueva was born February 8, 1927 in Panama City, Panama, daughter of the late Toribio Villanueva and Epefanea Orgtega Villanueva.

Abuelita was respected and loved by so many because of her kind and thoughtful heart, always helping anyone she could. She lived a true life of sacrifice and taught us many lessons on giving. She was loved tremendously and will be missed tremendously.

Other than her parents, Abuelita is preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include, daughter, Virginia Wyckstandt, of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Aguedo and Gaillermo Villanueva of Panama City, Panama; three grandchildren, Itzel Copeland of Auburn, AL, Richard Wyckstandt, Jr, and Robert Wyckstandt, both of Winder, GA. Abuelita is also survived by six great-grandchildren, many other extended family members and caring friends
