Rebecca “Becky” Fralish Steed, 65, of Smiths Station, AL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the comfort of her home.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 4pm at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Chaplain Brenda Loes officiating. Serving as pallbearers are; Jeffrey Teagle, Johnathan Steed, Kaleb Steed, Blake Steed, Trevor Pearce, Tristin Pearce, Earl Fralish, Bruce Thompson, Mike Fortenbery and Joey McLendon. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel.
Becky was born February 23, 1952 in Columbus, GA the 4th of 5 siblings. She was employed with Tom’s Foods in Columbus, GA and was a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, traveling, and the peaceful tranquility of humming birds. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd Jackson Fralish and Elsie Sykes Fralish Deese.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jimmy Lee Steed, Sr. of Smiths Station, AL, one daughter, Jennifer Teagle, three sons, Jeffrey Teagle, Jimmy Steed, Jr. and fiancé Carol Arnold, and Johnathan Steed and wife Rebecca; two sisters, Faye Winslow and husband Robert, Susan Arrington and husband Larry, two brothers, Roy Fralish and wife Charlotte, and Earl Fralish and wife Kay; siblings, David Fralish and wife Brenda, Dana Fralish, Diane Kelly and husband Bill and Debbie Burns and husband Dave; (11) grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
