Reggie Wells

Reggie Wells, 77, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Randy Comer officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. 

Mr. Wells was born October 23, 1940, son of the late Ralph Wells and Earsel Thompson Wells.  He retired from the Army National Guard with over 47 years of service.  During his tenure with the Army National Guard, he served in Desert Storm.  Mr. Wells was a member of the Wilson Williams Masonic Lodge and the Russell County Republican Club, as well as River of Life Church.  He attended the University of Alabama and was a huge fan.

Mr. Wells is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Wanda Hutchins Wells of Phenix City, AL; one son, David Wells and wife Diana of Pensacola; one daughter, Brande Carden of Phenix City, AL; FL; three grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Matthew Carden and Maddy Carden; other extended family and friends.
