Rhonda Michelle Lopez

Rhonda Michelle Lopez, 54, of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, December 30, 2019 beginning at 7 pm with Deacon Brian Childs officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday, December 30, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home from 6 pm until 7 pm.

Rhonda was born on September 22, 1965 in Brunswick, GA to John Ridgdill and Jacqueline Street.  She retired from Bell South after working for 32 years as a clerk/operator.  Rhonda enjoyed going to movies and watching television, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.  Elijah and Jonah brought a smile to her face and warmth to her heart.  Her tremendous love for them was very easy for others to see.  Rhonda will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but she will always have a special place in their hearts.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Street.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Robert Lopez; sons, Joshua Williams (Brittney) and Jacob Williams, both of Phenix City, AL; brothers, Ricky Ridgdill (Mary) of Washington, NC and Randy Ridgdill (Rachel) of Haltom City, TX; grandchildren, Elijah Williams and Jonah Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
