Rhonda Rene Folmar

Rhonda Rene Foran Folmar, 55, of Seale, AL passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held 11:00 am EST on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Richie Ashburn officiating.  Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rhonda was born March 9, 1962 in Columbus, GA to Dorothy Ann Hughey Foran and the late Jackie E. Foran.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whom was deeply devoted to her family.  She had a passion for the beach and collecting sea shells.  She loved cooking, working puzzles, gardening; special event times with family, especially everyone’s birthday, and her many keepsake house robes.  She was a member of Silver Run Baptist Church in Seale.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Ann Foran, her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Rodger Lane Folmar, three children, Jamie Rene Miley and husband Bobby Lee, Nickalas Folmar and wife Jessica, and Justin July Folmar and fiancé Taylor Denise Miller, one sister, Tammy L. Kite and husband Mike, brother, Jack F. Foran and wife Dawn, (6) grandchildren, Summer Rene Miley, Brianna Nicole Miley, Abby Gail Lee Miley, Landon Lane Folmar, Lila Jean Folmar, and Lola Brianne Folmar, mother-in-law, Wilene Holmes, brother-in-law, Dennis LaDon Folmar and wife Oliva, sisters-in-law, Laureen Yawn and husband Butch, Sherry Angelia Simon and husband Tony, and Jennifer “Jenny” Roberson and husband Randy, a very special uncle, Clayton Guice, and a host of extended family members, nieces, nephews, and many caring friends.
