Richard Dean Eller

Richard “Ricky” Dean Eller, 61, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 4500 St Mary’s Rd, Columbus, GA on Saturday, May 4, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Eric Sizemore officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday, May 3, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Ricky was born on April 11, 1958 in Amarillo, TX to the late George H. Eller, Sr. and Faye Virginia Dunaway.  He was employed at Chassix Georgia Machining, where he was a machine operator.  His love and dedication for his family was evident to all who knew him.  The highlight of his life was spending time with his family, especially when it came to his sweet granddaughter.  This wonderful man will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but he will forever hold a very special place in their hearts.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Tammy Eller of Columbus, GA; son, Richard Cody Eller of Columbus, GA; siblings, George Herman Eller, Jr. (Lisa) of Columbus, GA, Angela Cheney Wydra (Terry) of Harris County, GA, Anthony Capparelle of Columbus, GA, David Eller of Charleston, SC, and Trayce Eller of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Kaylee Eller of Columbus, GA; mother-in-law, Martha Jo House of Columbus, GA; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
