Richard "Richie" Travis Brown

Richard "Richie" Travis Brown, Jr., 58, of Phenix City, AL, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Jack Hughston Hospital in Phenix City, AL.

Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Gary Bradshaw officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home until 7:00 PM.

Mr. Brown was born March 18, 1961 in Elba, AL, son of Richard Travis Brown and Roslyn Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Cascade Hills Church. He was employed by GE Medical for over 25 years. Richard was a devoted and loving husband, father, and Pops. His family was his pride and joy. Outside of his family, his greatest love was Alabama Football. He truly bled Crimson. Richard will be sorely missed, but the love and memories he leaves with his family will be forever cherished.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Audrey Rosero Brown, one daughter, Heather Wetzel (Eric), one son, Richard Travis Brown III, his parents, Richard Travis Brown and Roslyn Brown, two brothers, Troy Brown (Anne), and Scott Brown, one grandson, Michael Colton Brown, one sister in law, Elsa Bradshaw (Charles), one brother in law, Enrique Rosero (Rosy), and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
