Rickie Lee Briscoe, Sr.

Rickie Lee Briscoe, Sr., 52, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm EST Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Briscoe was born June 21, 1964 in Phenix City, AL, to Ann Meadows Thompson (Thomas) and the late Dorisel Briscoe. He long time employee of Smith-Gray Electric and loved Auburn Football.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Lee Gillispie and Bernard Franklin Adkins, Jr.; son, Joshua Briscoe and daughter, Audrey Southern.

Rickie is survived by his fiancé, Holly Southern; children, Dorisel Briscoe, Rickie Briscoe, Jr., Zachary Briscoe, Loren VanPelt, Joshua Southern and Gracelen Southern; sisters, Vickie Nelson, Diana Rouse and Sherry Barker; grandchild, Zoey Daughtry; niece and nephew, Danyelle and Brandon; and many extended family members and caring friends.
