Robert "Neal" Fulford

Robert “Neal” Fulford, 65, of Phenix City, AL passed at his residence on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Graveside Services will be held at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. David Wilson officiating. 

Neal Fulford was born May 08, 1959, in Columbus, GA, son of the late John Kenneth Fulford, Sr. and Ida Elizabeth Odom Fulford. He had retired as a Civil Engineer with the Civil Service. Neal enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was always looking for a reason to head to the water. Neal was also an avid Alabama Football fan. Football season was a favorite time of year for him. Neal was a quiet man and a bit of a recluse, but he was warm hearted, loving, sincere, and was passionate about making his feelings knows to those he loved. Neal cherished his family and made every day count. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. 

Mr. Fulford was preceded in death by his parents, John Kenneth Fulford, Sr. and Ida Elizabeth Fulford. 

Survivors include his son, David “Todd” Woods (Francis) of Phenix City, Al, brother, Ken Fulford, Jr. (Beverly) of Phenix City, Al, grandchild, Kayla Franklin (Cameron) of Phenix City, Al, niece, Kimberly Tillery (Chris) and two great nephews, Kendall Tillery and Collin Tillery.
