Robert G. King Jr.

Robert Guy King, Jr., 61, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Columbus Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Mr. King was born and raised in Columbus, GA. He attended Carver High School and retired from Tom’s Foods as a machinist in the candy department. He was a member of Wynnton Methodist Church.

Mr. King is preceded in death by his father, Robert Guy King, Sr., uncle, Richard Carl King, Sr., and aunt, Miriam Jean King Gilliland. He is survived by several cousins.
