Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Bread of Life Christian Center, 4510 Oates Ave, Columbus, GA 31904 with Pastor L. Darnel Skinner, Jr. officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment with U. S. Army honors will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. SSG (Ret) Justice was born February 15, 1943, in Kimball, W. VA son of the late George Martin and Aretha Hayes Martin. He retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of committed and dedicated service to our Country. After his retirement, he chose to enjoy his family and friends and not return to full time work. Mr. Justice was an active member of Bread of Life Christian Church, Columbus, GA where he worshiped with his family and friends.
We will remember him as an encourager who never met a stranger. He truly lived out his Christian faith no matter the circumstances. “Pop Justice” as he was known by friends, would give the shirt off of his back if there was a legitimate need. He always had a smile on his face that reflected the love of Christ that was in his heart. We take great comfort in knowing he is now receiving his eternal reward as he walks the streets of gold in Heaven with Christ his Savior. Thank you for the solid foundation that you have laid for our family to continue to build upon.
