Robert "Bobby" Mora, 65, of Ft. Mitchell, AL, passed away at Piedmont Columbus Regional - Midtown, in Columbus, GA, on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Graveside services with U.S. Army Honors, will be held at 10:00 AM (EST) on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Gilboy officiating.
Mr. Mora was born on September 15, 1959, in Fresno, CA, the son of the late Ben Mora and Graciella Merino Mora. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country. Robert, or "Taco," as he was known by friends, worked as a gifted mechanic for many years. He was a private man who deeply loved his family, and pets. Robert enjoyed fishing, country music, and watching TV, especially westerns.
We will smile, and remember the good times we shared throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Elvington Mora of Ft. Mitchell, AL; three children, Shannon Mora Pritchett (Jeremy), Christopher Mora (Kathryn), and Ashley Mora Fox (Nick); three siblings, Connie Castillo (Carlos), Patsy Mora, and Ben Mora, Jr. (Renee); five grandchildren, Kylie, Landen, Tyler, Thia, and Frankie; four great-grandchildren, Hadlee, Hayden, Hunter, and Ezra; and numerous friends, and family members.
