Robert Prather Brannock

Robert Prather Brannock, 92, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2015 beginning at 3:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907. Interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. Dr. Tommy Henschel will be officiating services. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Robert Prather Brannock was born April 3, 1923 in Columbus, Ga. son of the late William Brannock and Myrtle McCann Brannock. Robert was a great provider for his family. He loved his family dearly. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grand father and caring friend. Other than his parents Robert was preceded in death by daughter, Norma Brannock. Survivors include his wife of 68 years Delores Armour Brannock; sons, Jim Brannock (Patsy) of Hamilton, GA, Mike Lee Brannock, of Phenix City, AL, Donald Brannock and partner Kathy, of Allentown, PA; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
