Mr. Robert E. Schrecengost

Mr. Robert Earl Schrecengost, 64, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. David Dollar officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home.

Mr. Schrecengost was born May 2, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM the son of  Robert H. Schrecengost and the late Angelita Pino Schrecengost.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Mr. Schrecengost spent most of his career in the construction industry.

Other than his father, he is survived by a daughter, Christy Wiggins of Smiths Station, AL; two sons, Brad Melton and wife Nicole of Smiths Station, AL and Derick Schrecengost and wife Lori of Salem, AL; a sister, Carol Britton of Salem, AL; a brother, Gary Schrecengost of Humboldt, TX; grandchildren, Hazel Wiggins, Isabella Wiggins, Rylan Schrecengost, Taeley Schrecengost, Hudson Schrecengost, Tucker Melton and Gage Dollar; extended family and friends.
