Eulas Robert Taylor, 67, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM (EST) on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in the Chapel Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Taylor was born May 04, 1956 in Phenix City, AL son of the late James Alvis Taylor and Qumy Broadwater Taylor. He had retired from Lummus Industries after 20 years of committed service. Robert loved to fish when he could, however his favorite outdoor activity was camping. He loved to camp with his family and friends. This was his happy place so to speak. Robert also enjoyed music, especially Hank Williams, Jr.
He has left a void in our daily routine by leaving sooner than we expected, but his memories will live on in our hearts.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, James and Qumy Taylor; two siblings, James Ray Taylor and Kay Taylor Grogan; a brother-in-law, Jim Grogan and a niece, Amanda Taylor.
Survivors include his daughter, Cassie Taylor, Phenix City, AL; sister, Carol Howle (Toby) and brother, Eugene Taylor; five grandchildren, Robert Cantelli, Sarah Cantelli, Ryan Cantelli, Landen Taylor and Zachary Taylor; special family friend, Joni Newman Craig; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
