Robert W. Axcell

Robert W. Axcell, 87, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.
The family will announce a Memorial Service for Mr. Axcell at a later date.
Mr. Axcell was born in Marceline, Missouri the son of Walter Scott Axcell and Lolitta Bixler Axcell. After completing his education, Mr. Axcell faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He later owned his own company Best Food. He was a Lutheran by faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Axcell was preceded in death by wife Mary Jane Beattie Axcell, a son Scott Eric Axcell and a grandson Robert Axcell.
Left to cherish his memory is one daughter Tina Marie Grams and husband Jeff of Stoughton, WI; two sons Robert Axcell and his wife Cindy of Edgerton, WI and Daniel Axcell and his wife Tracy of Smiths Station, AL; Seven grandchildren; Eight great grandchildren and a host of other family members.
