Mrs. Robin Lee Lockard, 76, of Columbus, Georgia died on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA. She was happily married to Chris Lockard for 42 years.
Mrs. Lockard was born on February 13, 1949, in Queens, NY. She was the daughter of the late Harry Robert Kesner and Billie Bernice Winningham Kesner. Robin was an Engineering student at UCLA and George Washington University, where she earned Dean’s List honors. Mrs. Lockard had a very successful career in Information Technology, relocating to Columbus in 1997, where both she and her husband worked at TSYS until retirement.
Robin was an avid traveler, equestrienne, theater and arts enthusiast, and enjoyed gourmet cooking. She enjoyed attending music concerts with friends and family. Mrs. Lockard was an avid supporter of the Columbus River Dragons and Washington Capitals Hockey teams, Maryland Terrapins Basketball, and LSU Football. Geaux Tigers!
Other than her parents, Mrs. Lockard was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Kesner.
She is survived by her loving husband Chris Lockard; her four children; Tiffany Curtis (Keith), Alex Stilwell, Lara Stilwell and Christopher Lockard; her many nieces and nephews, along with several other extended family and friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
