Rodney Allan Chmolack

Rodney Allan Chmolack, 68, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home.

A Funeral Mass will be held 3:00 pm EST Monday, December 18, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Chmolack was born 1948 in Honolulu, HI, son of the late Nancy Yoshimura Love.  He retired from the United States Army with over 28 years of service. During his tenure with the US Army he served in Vietnam.  Mr. Chmolack loved fishing and was Catholic by faith.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Chmolack.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Dennis of Phenix City, AL; sons, Rodney Chmolack of Long Beach, CA, Jeffrey Chmolack and wife Nicole of San Mateo, CA, Jason Chmolack and wife Leah of San Mateo, CA, Harold Dennis and wife JoAnne of Clarksville, TN and Terry Dennis and wife Heidi of Phenix City, AL; seventeen grandchildren; several extended family and caring friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1502 Broad St, Phenix City, AL 36867.
