Ronald Gene McNally, 69, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday afternoon, January 9, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth, NE and also the family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home in Ainsworth. Interment will follow at Ainsworth Cemetery in Ainsworth, NE. Mr. McNally was born May 7, 1945 in Ainsworth, NE to the late Dale McNally and Maxine Shaul McNally. He had worked with Concorde Warehouse in Columbus, GA as a wholesale tire representative for 50 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a Methodist by faith. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed fellowshipping with his buddies, he had a very infectious laugh and was a big Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen McNally and Michael McNally. He is survived by his loving devoted companion and friend of 26 years, Joyce Karen Nelson of Phenix City, AL, one brother, David McNally and wife DiAnn of Cozad, NE, numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.
