Ronald Eugene Lewis Sr., 54, sadly passed away at his residence on May 4, 2024. He was born on September 19,1969, in Columbus, Georgia. Services to honor Ronald will be held on Thursday May 16 at 2:00pm at The Fort Church 1342 17th St. Columbus, GA 31901. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the fellowship hall.
Ronald will be remembered for his impeccable impression of Donald Duck, bringing joy and laughter to those around him with his quick wit and good sense of humor. Ronald worked as a pipe fitter for many years and was a proud member of Union 52. Beyond his professional life, he found solace in various hobbies and interests. Ronald enjoyed fishing, working on automobiles, and above all, riding motorcycles. These were the moments that brought him true happiness.
In the hearts of his surviving family members, Ronald leaves behind cherished memories and an irreplaceable void. He is survived by his daughter Roni Lewis; sons Donald Lewis, Ronald Eugene Lewis Jr., and Daniel Lewis; father Gene Lewis and mother Carol Poole Lewis; sisters April Lewis Davis and Anita Lewis Parsons; grandchildren Christian John David Lewis, Bayli Lewis, and Crimson Reynolds-Lewis; as well as his beloved pets.
Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved son Matthew John Culp, the mother of his two oldest children Jami Griffen Posey, and his stepmother Francis Wright Lewis.
