Mr. Ronald Stroud

Mr. Ronald Stroud, 70, of Salem, AL passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Stroud was born September 5, 1950 in Pratville, AL, son of the late Jerrie K. Stroud and Nellie Golson Stroud.  He worked in the textile industry for many years and then owned and operated his own construction business, Ron Stroud Construction.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Stroud and Donnie Stroud.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda Farmer Stroud; daughters, Renee Stroud, Christina Stroud and Shelly Stroud; a son, Levi Carey; sisters, Kay Irwin (Steve) and Tasha Brown (Mike); a brother, Rex Stroud (Tammy); grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler and Brandy; several extended family and friends.
