Roy W. Morrow, Jr., 73, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alexander City, AL.
A graveside service was held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Morrow was born December 22, 1946 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Roy W. Morrow, Sr. and Rosa Kate McCardle Morrow. He joined the United States Army and later transitioned to the United States Navy, where he retired. During his tenure in the military, he had the opportunity to serve in the Gulf War. Mr. Morrow was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Mr. Morrow is survived by one daughter, Erin Morrow of Phenix City, AL; one son, Nathan Roy Morrow of TN; one sister, Deloris Kay Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Dale Edward Morrow of NC; several other extended family and friends.
