Sandra Ann Mcdermott

Sandra Ann Ambrusko McDermott, 68, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her home.

A Funeral mass will be held 1:00 pm Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Father Brian O’Shaughnessy  officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. 

Mrs. McDermott was born February 26, 1948 in North Tonawanda, NY daughter of the late Frank Ambrusko and Lillian Ambrusko.  She retired from Carrol County Health Department in Westminester, MD.  Mrs. McDermott was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.  

She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew McDermott of Columbus, GA; two children, Lisa Baldwin and husband Bruce and Scott McDermott and wife Amy, all of Columbus, GA; a brother, Frank Ambrusko and wife Diane of Eugene, OR; six grandchildren, Adrienne, Matthew, Katie, Brooke, Ben and Emily; other loving family members and caring friends.
