Mrs. Hall was born October 27, 1928 in Clanton, AL daughter of the late Cecil Hubert Livingston and Annie Lucile Horne Livingston. She was the “neighborhood mom” raising her six sons and most of their friends. Granny as she is known to family and friends, never stopped loving and raising children. She helped to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren also. Mrs. Hall was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and the Harvesters Sunday School. An active person, Mrs. Hall held most if not all of the offices in the Moose Lodge and was part of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 665 and the Red Hat Society, Southern Bells of Alabama. She loved adventures, traveling, music and fishing. There is not enough space here to devote to the many things she accomplished as this is just a brief listing; however, her greatest accomplishment was instilling family values and love in the multiple generations who she loved openly and freely.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Annie Livingston; husband, William “Bill” Ellis Hall; three siblings, Annie Ruth Arrington, Cecil Livingston and Roy Livingston; two precious great-grandchildren, Cody Woodham and Emma Woodham.
Survivors include her six sons, Rick Edwards, James Woodham (Deborah), David Woodham (Judy), Steven Woodham, Roger Woodham and Norman Woodham (Leighann); one sister, Nellie Bishop; 10 grandchildren, Julie Horsby, Lorre Cheely, Jed Brown, Jessa Stoneburner, Gabe Woodham, Grady Woodham, Abigail Eagan, Brandon Woodham, Ginger Woodham and Nick Woodham; 17 great-grandchildren, Bryant, Makenna, Ellie, Addison, Jack, Jude, Sophia, Hazel, Floral, Caden, Connor, Colton, Whitney, Alivia, Jaiman, Evie and Ida; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
