Sarah Elizabeth Hagan

Sarah Elizabeth Hagan, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, February 03, 2017 at her home in Columbus, GA.  A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA  on Monday, February 06, 2017 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST with Pastor Roy White  officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 P.M. EST.  

Mrs. Hagan was born May 27, 1925 in Lizella, GA to the late Willie Lee Jones, Sr. and Lilly Mae Taylor Jones.  She was a member of Edgewood Methodist Church.  She was a homemaker who spent her time raising her family and loving the Lord.  She enjoyed crafting and sewing.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Hagan is predeceased by her loving husband of seventy years, James Oscar Hagan, Jr; her brother, Willie Lee Jones, Jr.; a grandson, Kenneth Allen Lawrence; and her dog, FeFe.

Survivors include two daughters:  Bonnie Williams of Lizella, GA and Debbie Freddette (Kenneth) of Columbus, GA; one son, James Oscar Hagan III (Kathi) of Leesburg, GA; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
