Sarah Love Burnham

Sarah Fredner Love Brunham, 87, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow at Crawford Cemetery in Crawford, AL.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Burnham was born March 13, 1929 in Jackson County, FL, daughter of the late Bill Love and Sarah Glisson Love.  She worked for over 20 years at Fieldcrest Mills.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Burnham, Sr., two sisters, Lila Burnham and Fronia Owens; three brothers, Bill Love, Ross Love and Lester Love.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Spitznagel and husband Joseph and Edna Brooks and husband James, all of Phenix City, AL; three sons, Walter Burnham, Albert Burnham, Jr. and wife Donna and Johnny Burnham, all of Phenix City, AL; 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.  She had many extended family members and caring friends.
